About FIREWEBZ

What is FIREWEBZ?

FIREWEBZ is a defense tender intelligence platform. It collects public defense and military procurement notices from government and international portals, scores each tender against the products you sell, and alerts you to strong matches before the deadline. It also includes a directory of local defense partners and a calendar of the major defense trade shows.

Who is FIREWEBZ for?

Two kinds of companies. Vendors are defense manufacturers and suppliers that want to find tenders and government contracts for their products. Partners are local companies, such as distributors, agents and integrators, that help foreign suppliers win business in their country.

What is the difference between a vendor account and a partner account?

Both use the same app: the tender feed, alerts, events and the partner directory. Vendors upload product documents and get a fit score on every tender. Partners are listed in the partner directory and do not upload products; a partner can upgrade to a vendor plan at any time.

Is FIREWEBZ affiliated with any government or with NATO?

No. FIREWEBZ is an independent service. It shows public information from official sources and links every tender to its original notice. FIREWEBZ is not endorsed by any government, procurement agency, NATO or event organizer.

Can companies from any country sign up?

Yes, with one exception: we do not accept companies, owners or users subject to international sanctions, or based in Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Russia or Belarus.

Tenders and sources

Where do the tenders come from?

From official public sources: TED (the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily), the UK's Find a Tender service, SAM.gov for US federal contracts, the European Defence Fund, NATO's NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency), and national procurement portals in Germany, France, Poland, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Spain and Canada. You can add other portals that publish an RSS or Atom feed.

Does FIREWEBZ only show defense tenders?

Yes. From each source we keep notices from defense buyers, such as ministries of defense and armed forces, and notices classified under military product codes. Everything else is filtered out.

How often are new tenders added?

The sources are checked several times a day, so new notices usually appear within hours of publication.

Can I add my own tender sources?

Yes. You can add any portal that publishes an RSS or Atom feed, including feeds that need a login. Login details are encrypted with a key unique to your account and used only to collect tenders for you.

Do you submit bids for me?

No. Every tender links to the official notice, where you register and submit your bid with the buyer. FIREWEBZ helps you find the right tenders early and track them: watching, bidding or passed.

Fit scoring and AI

How does the fit score work?

You upload a brochure or datasheet for each product. FIREWEBZ writes a short capability profile and a list of matching keywords and product codes. Tenders that mention them are scored by AI from 0 to 100% against your products, with a one-line reason, so the strongest matches come first.

Which AI do you use, and is my product information used to train it?

Fit scoring uses Anthropic's Claude models through its commercial API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, the text we send is not used to train its models. You can switch AI scoring off in Settings; matching then uses keywords only and your product text never leaves FIREWEBZ.

Can I change the keywords used for matching?

Yes. Each product shows its English keywords, which you can add to or remove. FIREWEBZ also matches their translations in German, French, Polish, Spanish, Dutch and Ukrainian, and the product's category codes.

What happens to tenders that don't match any of my products?

You still see them in your feed, without a score. They don't trigger alerts and don't count toward your plan's monthly AI scoring limit.

What is the monthly limit on AI-scored tenders?

Each vendor plan includes a number of AI-scored tenders per month: 2,000, 5,000 or 15,000. Only tenders that match your products' keywords use it. Above the limit, tenders are matched by keywords until the next month.

Which files can I upload, and what do you keep?

PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text and Markdown files. We extract the text and delete the uploaded file immediately. Please upload marketing-level material only, never classified or export-controlled technical data.

Alerts, partners and events

How do alerts work?

You get an email when a new tender passes your fit threshold, and a daily digest of everything new. Each tender can be marked watching, bidding or passed, with private notes for your team.

How does the partner directory work?

Vendors search local defense companies by country and expertise, such as cyber, aerial, naval or ground, and contact them directly. Partners are listed after signup and automatic checks, including email verification and country screening. A listing is not a recommendation; agreements are between the companies.

Which defense events are included?

The major defense and aerospace shows worldwide, including AUSA, Eurosatory, DSEI, IDEX, the Paris Air Show, Farnborough, ILA Berlin, MSPO, Milipol and the World Defense Show. You can save events, add them to your calendar, get reminders, and see which partners will attend.

Plans and billing

How much does FIREWEBZ cost?

Vendor plans cost $100 a month for 1 to 5 products, $180 for 6 to 15 products and $300 for 16 or more. The partner plan costs $30 a month. Prices are in US dollars; VAT or sales tax is added where it applies.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a payment method at signup but are not charged until the trial ends, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. Yearly billing costs eleven times the monthly price, so one month is free. You can switch between monthly and yearly billing from your account.

Can I cancel or change plan?

Yes, any time from Billing in your account. When you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Plan changes are prorated.

What is your refund policy?

If FIREWEBZ isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. See the refund policy for details.

Who processes payments?

Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, processes all orders. Paddle handles VAT and sales tax and sends your receipts. We never see your full card details.

What happens if a payment fails?

Nothing changes straight away. We email the account owner and keep your account working for 7 days while the payment is retried. After that, access pauses until the payment goes through; your data is kept.

How many team members can I add?

Up to 3 on the partner plan, and 5, 10 or 25 on the vendor plans.

Account and security

How do I log in?

There are no passwords. Enter your email address and we send you a 6-digit code that is valid for 10 minutes.

How is my data protected?

Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's. Connections are encrypted, sign-in codes are stored only as hashes, saved portal logins are encrypted with a key unique to your company, and an audit log records sign-ins and changes. Read the privacy policy for details.

How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?

Account owners can do both from Settings in the app. Download my data gives you a ZIP of everything stored about your account. Delete my account closes it immediately, cancels the subscription, and permanently deletes the data 30 days later; until then you can write to contact@firewebz.com to undo it.
